Lessons and Structure

ChamberFest Coaching and Performance

Top-notch professional musicians serve as the coaches for our Adult Intensive. Participants receive 10 hours of coaching from faculty members, with many coaches playing in groups. The intensive weekend culminates in a public performance on Sunday afternoon. Musicians are expertly grouped according to their level, and pre-formed groups are welcome.

The workshop allows adult musicians to immerse themselves in the world of chamber music in an intensive but supportive environment. Our participants come away with the joy of connecting both with fellow musicians and with beloved works from the chamber music repertoire.

Workshops

ChamberFest Adult Intensive features daily workshops on a variety of subjects to help participants explore their artistry. These include: improvisation, effective practice techniques, Feldenkreis movement, and performance style.

Faculty Concert

WCMS faculty coaches will perform a public concert Saturday night, 7:30 PM, in Brooks Concert Hall.
