Are you an amateur musician who plays strings, woodwinds, or piano and are over the age of 18? Join us this summer for a weekend chamber music intensive where you’ll enhance your technique and skill, and learn from renowned performers.

Featuring:

• 5 coaching sessions with Worcester Chamber Music Society artists
• A weekend-concluding performance
• A variety of music-related workshops
• Warm community through a network of chamber music lovers
• Convenient location at Clark University in the vibrant heart of Worcester

ChamberFest faculty are core Worcester Chamber Music Society musicians who have performed on the world’s greatest concert stages and teach in the region’s top colleges and universities.

ChamberFest Coaching and Performance

Participants play in a group with faculty and receive daily coaching. The intensive weekend culminates in a public performance.

Workshops

ChamberFest Adult Intensive features daily workshops on a variety of subjects to help participants explore their artistry. These include: improvisation, effective practice techniques, Feldenkreis movement, and performance style.

Optional Evening Session

Participants will have the chance to gather after hours for a chamber music reading session. While not required, ChamberFest participants will be able to take advantage of this opportunity on Saturday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Includes dinner Friday night, and lunch Saturday and Sunday.
